Connect
Find your connection to Ethiopia
Find your place in Ethiopia's next chapter. Five pathways connect you with the country: invest in its growing sectors, trade in its products, partner with its institutions, explore its heritage and cities, or reconnect as part of its global diaspora. Choose the pathway that fits your interest.
Diaspora and communities
Stay connected to home
Whether you grew up in Ethiopia or are discovering your heritage from abroad, you are part of this story. Ethiopians around the world carry the country's culture, coffee, and hospitality into every community they join.
There are many ways to deepen that connection:
Invest and do business at home, with support from the Ethiopian Investment Commission.
Share your skills as a volunteer, mentor or visiting professional in health, education, technology and other fields.
Tell Ethiopia's story in your city, using the approved narrative and resources in the Brand Toolkit.
Visit and reconnect, and bring the next generation to see where the story began.
The Ethiopian Diaspora Service is the national institution for diaspora engagement. Ethiopian embassies and consulates can also connect you with community organizations near you. Tell us your interests, and we will point you to the right opportunity.
